As a documentary wedding + elopement photographer, I have strong opinions on capturing your day. I am a human first and photographer second so preserving the moment over getting the most perfect picture possible is one thing I obsess over. My presence on your day is one meant to calm and capture, not to stage faux moments.
Having your photos taken can be weird and uncomfortable and vulnerable. To get to that space of comfort and vulnerability with my couples, I really get to know who they are as humans. This helps me make all of my couples more comfortable for when the camera comes around to capture your day.
